Small Joys

<ahref=””>Celebrate Good Times</a>

Small joys I celebrate
Trees full-leaved swishing in the breeze;
Baby ducks, unfledged balls of down,
Ridiculously waddling;
Smell of bacon frying, Winter-morning crisp;
Tang of earliest berries, tart yet, promising ripeness;
Small daily joys.
Unexpected warmth from friends;
Unlooked for kindnesses chance-met from strangers;
Small successes: a perfect cake; a flower in a vase;
Small joys, but still worth celebrating.

I am a poet, therefore I am crazy - see Shakespeare "the lunatic, the lover and the poet..." I also write plays and stories and do the press reports for my local WI. I ride a recumbent trike, a Hase Kettwiesel - I love it!
